This deeply carved cross pendant renders the face of Christ during the Passion — eyes closed, brow furrowed, a single tear below the left eye, and a crown of thorns suggested along the upper edge. The jagged, asymmetric cross silhouette and heavy sculptural relief are hallmarks of 1970s brutalist design, favoring texture and shadow over polish. Diamond-cut striations model the beard and hair, contrasting against the satin-finished face for depth. The reverse bears a "14K" stamp alongside a copyright-symbol maker's which was not stamped clearly enough for legibility. Ultrasonically cleaned and in very good condition.
