Each earring is worked as a single leaf in warm 14K yellow gold, its surface worked to a softly matte, repoussé-textured finish that captures the natural curl and venation of the leaf in convincing relief. Eight single-cut diamonds per earring are star-set across the face in a scattered, constellation-like arrangement — a signature Mid-Century decorating conceit that mimics dewdrops or light caught on foliage. The stones are lively and well-matched, graded G color and VS clarity, with the characteristic flat crown and open culet of single-cut production from this period. A gently curved stem anchors the composition and extends below the lobe for a graceful, tapered finish.
Unsigned American fine jewelry of this quality and execution was produced by a handful of respected mid-market houses working in the mid-century, and the double 14K stamp — one on the body, one on the omega clip finding — reflects standard American manufacturing practice of the decade. The omega clip backs sit flush and secure, providing the confident wearability the period demanded of substantial earrings. At just under an inch wide, these leaf diamond earrings wear as a bold but refined statement — unmistakably Mid-Century in their naturalistic confidence, and entirely at home on a modern ear.
