Kutchinsky, a London jeweler with roots tracing back to a family of German émigrés, rose to prominence in the post-war decades for daring, large-scale designs that captured the glamorous spirit of Swinging London. Rope motifs became a Kutchinsky signature in the 1960s, often rendered in heavy gold with bold textures and set with fine gemstones. This ring is a perfect example of the house style—imposing yet elegant, balancing playfulness with superb craftsmanship.
A substantial and iconic statement piece from one of Britain’s most important jewelers of the 20th century.
